Papier Mâché Art Exhibition Showcases Creativity and Community

Willard Community Center recently hosted a Papier Mâché Art Exhibition, bringing together community members to celebrate creativity and the accomplishments of local artists.

The exhibition featured work created during a six-week course, where participants learned hands-on techniques and explored the art of papier mâché. Throughout the class, individuals developed their skills while expressing their creativity in unique and meaningful ways.

The course was led by Creative Aging Arts Program artist Maureen Brase, who also serves as Willard’s Adult Program Coordinator. Her guidance and expertise helped participants build confidence and bring their artistic visions to life.

The event was well attended, with guests enjoying the opportunity to view the finished pieces and connect with the artists behind them. The exhibition not only highlighted artistic talent but also reinforced the importance of lifelong learning and community connection.

Willard Community Center is proud to offer programs like this that encourage creativity, foster relationships, and provide meaningful experiences for participants of all ages.
