Jim Ager Golf Course Introduces Lakeview CLC Students to the Game of Golf

The Lakeview CLC was full of excitement as staff from Jim Ager Golf Course spent the afternoon introducing students to the game of golf. Through hands-on instruction and encouragement, children learned the basics of how to properly hold a golf club, line up a shot, and hit a golf ball.

For many students, this was their first experience with the sport. The Jim Ager team created a welcoming and engaging environment that allowed kids to try something new, build confidence, and have fun while learning. Laughter, smiles, and plenty of practice swings filled the space as students took turns refining their skills.

Experiences like this highlight the value of community partnerships and exposure to new activities that promote learning, focus, and perseverance. We are grateful to the Jim Ager staff for sharing their time, expertise, and enthusiasm with our Lakeview CLC students and for helping create a memorable afternoon that combined education, movement, and fun.
