Summer Care
School-Age Summer Programming:
Any grade school or middle-school-age child currently enrolled in our programs is welcome to register for Willard's all-day summer program. To attend the summer program, children must have completed kindergarten and not yet started 9th grade. Families currently not enrolled in a Willard program are welcome to register. To get on our mailing list to receive paperwork in February, please get in touch with Tabitha Love at 402-475-0805 or tabithal@willardcommunitycenter.org.
The children are placed in age-appropriate groups (K,1, 2,3, and 4-8) and participate in weekly fun theme-based activities. (Kids will be put in the grade they completed in May.)
Kindergarten-2nd grade goes swimming Tuesday and Thursdays from 12:45-3:30. 3rd-8th grade goes on Wednesdays and Fridays (weather permitting). Each age group will go on one field trip per week.
Monday: Pre-K
Tuesday: Preschool
Wednesday: K-1 Group
Thursday: 2-3 Group
Friday: 4-8 Group
Care is available from 6:30a.m.to 6:00p.m., Monday through Friday. Preschool/Pre-K hours are 6:30a.m. to 5:30p.m.
Willard will be closed on the following days this summer:
Friday, May 26th for Summer set up & Staff Training/in-service
Monday, May 29th Memorial Day
Tuesday, May 30th for Summer set up & Staff Training/in-service
Monday, June 19th for Juneteenth
Tuesday, July 4th In Honor of The Fourth of July
Thursday, August 10th, and Friday, August 11th for Fall set up and open house.
