Creating Connection Through Snowflakes & Friendship
Snowflakes and friendship filled Willard Community Center as the Early Explorers preschool and pre-k students gathered for a special intergenerational activity with new friends from Lexington Assisted Living and participants from Willard’s adult program. Together, children and adults created snowflakes and friendship bracelets, shared conversations, and enjoyed meaningful moments that highlighted the joy of learning and connecting across generations.
The room was full of laughter, creativity, and warmth as relationships were formed through simple, shared experiences. These connections are at the heart of Willard’s mission and reflect the value of bringing people of all ages together in purposeful ways.
Willard Community Center extends a sincere thank you to all of the adults who participated in this special event. Their time, enthusiasm, and willingness to engage made the day truly memorable for our Early Explorers. As a cozy treat, everyone enjoyed hot cocoa, adding an extra touch of warmth to an already heartwarming experience.
Events like this remind us of the power of community and the lasting impact of intergenerational connections.
