Willard's Early Explorers Learn Fire Safety with Lincoln Fire & Rescue Visit
Launch the media gallery 1 playerIn celebration of Fire Prevention Week, our preschool and pre-k classes had a special visit from Lincoln Fire & Rescue, Station #13!
The firefighters spent the morning teaching our youngest learners about fire safety, showing them the protective gear they wear to stay safe, and giving a close-up look at the different parts of the fire engine. The children were full of curiosity and excitement, asking thoughtful questions and learning important safety lessons in a fun, hands-on way.
Visits like these help children build trust with first responders and understand how to stay calm and safe in an emergency. We are so grateful to the crew from Station #13 for sharing their time, kindness, and dedication to keeping our community safe.
