Lincoln South Rotary Club Donates $1,000

The Lincoln South Rotary Club graciously chose Willard Community Center to receive $1,000 to purchase rubber tire mulch for the preschool play area at Willard.

In 2022, two Ash trees were removed after being deemed unsafe in the play area. In February, the stumps were removed, leaving the space uneven. A local scout working on his Eagle Scout project will help to level the play space and reposition the donated rubber tiles in the remainder of the area.

The rubber tire mulch that Willard will now be able to purchase will keep the children and the environment safe.
