Pre-K Summer Care
Pre-K summer care will continue to be in the house at 1030 West "Q" Street. Only Full-time preschool is offered during the summer months using the same schedule as during the school year. The kids will still lay down for a nap around 12:30.
Rates for summer care change because we offer breakfast & lunch which is not an option during the school year. There is a weekly fee of $140 per child, regardless of days attended. A registration fee of $65 is due before summer care is provided.
Pre-K will go on field trips Fridays from 9:30-11:45. The fee for field trips is included in the registration. Pre-K will not go swimming, but we may request you to bring your child's swim gear for outside water fun.
During the summer months only breakfast and lunch are provided by The Summer Food Service Program which is an extension of the National School Lunch program which provides a free nutritious meal to children 18 and under at various sites around Lincoln.
The program is a cooperative effort of the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department and many community agencies and organizations. Many Summer Food Program sites are at community organizations who provide summer programs for children.
Willard Community Center Pre-K is one of those sites. Breakfast is served from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch is served from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
There are days that Willard will be closed for staff training and holidays during the summer. Please call and talk to Sarah at 402-475-0805 if you need to know the dates.
Care is available 6:30a.m to 5:30p.m. Monday - Friday.
